Solid Rocket Port Unloader

Overview

The Solid Rocket Port Unloader is a Rocket Port attachment used to transfer solid resources out of a landed rocket. It must be built adjacent to a Rocket Platform or another Rocket Port, and when placed it automatically connects into the rocket’s port network. Like the other port logistics buildings, it only functions while the rocket is landed; rockets must be landed to load or unload resources.

This building is part of the rocket cargo handling system alongside the various loaders and unloaders for solids, liquids, and gases. It is intended for retrieving solid cargo from a rocket without requiring manual hauling after the rocket returns. The building uses built-in solid material filters, allowing it to target which solid resources are accepted during unloading.

Practical notes:

  • It only works when the rocket is on a landing position.
  • It links automatically when built next to a Rocket Platform or another Rocket Port.
  • It is specific to solid resources; liquid and gas transfer require the corresponding port buildings.
  • The built-in filters let you control what is unloaded, which is useful when a rocket carries mixed or specialized cargo.
  • It belongs to the same family of rocket logistics buildings as the Solid Rocket Port Loader and the liquid and gas port loaders/unloaders.
