Solid Rocket Port Loader

Overview

The Solid Rocket Port Loader is a Rocket Port attachment used to load and unload solid materials to and from a landed Rocket. It automatically links when built beside a Rocket Platform or another Rocket Port, and it uses the solid material filters configured on the connected Rocket Platform.

Rockets must be landed before they can accept or discharge resources. When the linked destination cannot store additional material, the excess is held in the Solid Rocket Port Loader’s built-in buffer, up to 20 kg.

In practice, the loader is part of the rocket logistics chain rather than a standalone storage solution. Its behavior depends on the linked platform’s filter settings, so the materials it handles are determined by the Rocket Platform configuration. Because rockets must be landed for transfer, it is only useful during ground operations and cannot move cargo while the rocket is in flight.
