Solar Panel

The Solar Panel is a utility item that speeds up certain production devices placed within its area of effect. It affects machines up to 8 tiles from each side, making it useful for organizing efficient outdoor production lines. It does not work on machines placed inside a house.

To obtain it, the player must commission it at Crafting Lab Deed after unlocking the relevant berkonium recipes by delivering 10 Berkonium Ore and donating 1 Shiny Disc to Franklyn. The finished item arrives in the mailbox the next morning. Its crafting cost is 8 Dinks, 8 Dinks, 8 Dinks, 5 Dinks, 5 Dinks, and 1 Dink, delivered next day in the mailbox.

The Machine Manual lists it as compatible with the Windmill. The Tape Measure can also be used on range-based objects, including the Solar Panel, to show its effective area visually.

• Only devices marked as Solar Compatible receive the boost from a Solar Panel.
• The effect applies to all compatible devices within range, but the bonuses do not stack.
• Because it only affects nearby machinery, placement matters; keeping compatible devices within the panel's radius is the key to using it well.
