Windmill

The windmill is a large crafting support device that can be made at the Crafting Table after obtaining Building Licence Level 2 from Fletch. It boosts the crafting speed of certain compatible production devices within its effective range, cutting their crafting time in half.

Its effective area extends 14 tiles from each side, giving it a total range of 30 by 30 tiles with the windmill itself in the center. The effect does not stack, so a machine covered by more than one windmill will not work any faster than one covered by a single windmill. It also does not affect machines placed inside a house.

The Machine Manual marks Windmill and Solar Panel compatibility, and the Tape Measure can be used on range-based objects to show the windmill’s coverage visually. The devices that benefit from a windmill are specifically flagged as windmill compatible, and they perform noticeably better while inside its area.
