Overview
Engine is a component mainly used to produce Missile Set, Logistics bot, and Prototype. It is also required by a very small number of buildings and a few performance upgrade researches, but in all cases the total demand is low.
Although demand is limited, its crafting time is 3 seconds, which is long for such an early recipe and can keep a synthesizer occupied for a long time if made by hand. If you plan to use missiles, logistics bots, or combat drones heavily, it is worth setting up automatic production as soon as possible; even a single Assembler is enough to keep supply flowing.
