Missile Set

Missile Set is an ammunition item used with the Missile Turret. It can be produced from the early game, but among all ammo types it has the most complicated production chain and the highest resource cost. In exchange, missiles can damage every kind of enemy on both the ground and in space, and their explosions also give them area-of-effect damage, making them a broadly effective choice against most threats.

Because of that all-purpose performance, a missile-based defense line can be a practical way to simplify ammunition logistics if the extra cost is acceptable. Once Dyson Swarm production begins, enemy attacks from space can also start appearing, and until the midgame Missile Set is the only automatic interception option available for those threats. Even if another turret type is handling most ground defense, keeping a basic missile stockpile and some missile coverage is still recommended.

• Best used with the Missile Turret, which is designed around this ammo.
• Compared with bullet ammo such as Magnum Ammo Box, Missile Set is stronger in versatility but much more expensive to produce.
• Its splash damage makes it useful when enemies come in groups or when reliable all-around coverage is more important than cheap sustained fire.
• If ammunition cost is not a major concern, standardizing on missiles can reduce the need to maintain multiple ammo lines.
