Assembling Machines

Assembling Machines are the core production buildings used to assemble buildings, components, and more complex materials. They form the backbone of nearly every production chain in Dyson Sphere Program, since many intermediate and advanced items must be crafted in them before they can be used elsewhere.

There are three models of Assembling Machine, each with a different production speed:

• Basic Assembler, yellow: production speed is 0.75× the craft speed shown in recipes.
• High-speed Assembler, green: production speed matches the standard craft speed shown in recipes.
• Quantum Assembler, blue: production speed is 1.5× the craft speed shown in recipes.

Because recipe times are listed at the standard craft speed, the Basic Assembler runs below that baseline, while the Quantum Assembler exceeds it. In practice, choosing the correct model is important when designing production lines, since assembler speed directly affects throughput for every item made in the chain.
