Plane Filter

Overview
Plane Filter is a Tier IV component used primarily as an ingredient in
Its practical use is very limited outside that role. Aside from being consumed in the manufacture of Plane Smelters after
Plane Filter production is often constrained by its inputs and crafting speed. It takes a long time to produce, and the required Casimir Crystals are themselves difficult to mass-produce, so the item is commonly treated as a bottleneck component in late-game logistics. For players planning a Quantum Chip line, the limiting factor is usually not the final assembly step alone but the upstream supply of Plane Filters and Casimir Crystals.
A few useful ratios stand out when planning production:
- Plane Filters are consumed for Quantum Chips at a 1:4 speed ratio. In practice, this means every Assembling Machine producing Quantum Chips needs four
Assembling Machines producing Plane Filters to keep up.
- One Assembling Machine Mk.II making Casimir Crystals is enough to supply three Assembling Machines making Plane Filters.
- Five Assembling Machines making
Titanium Glass are enough to supply 12 Assembling Machines making Plane Filters.
Because Plane Filter is so tightly tied to Quantum Chip production, it is usually best to design its supply line as part of a broader late-game materials chain rather than as an isolated item. If your Quantum Chip output stalls, the first places to check are typically
