Overview

Revenant is a playable Nightfarer class in ELDEN RING NIGHTREIGN, built around summoning spirit allies and supporting the team from range. She is a living doll inhabited by the soul of a noble lady who seeks revenge, and she joins the Nightfarers to bring down the Nightlord. In combat, Revenant specializes in ranged magic damage and battlefield control rather than direct frontline trading.

Visually, she is a pale, blue-eyed maiden with braided white hair, a white veil, blue flowers, a ghostly white dress, a blue cape, and ring-shaped amulets. She is often shown barefoot and playing a lyre, reflecting her role as a summoner. Once unlocked, she appears at the Shrouded Roundtable Hold if she is not selected as the active character.

Revenant does not have a weapon preference, but she begins each run with Revenant's Cursed Claws, a unique fist weapon. This weapon strikes twice when two-handing and is her best starting option for dealing Revive Damage. Her attribute profile leans toward survivability and dexterity/strength over casting-focused investment, with lower values in mind and other spellcasting-related attributes. Her unique playstyle comes from pairing modest personal combat stats with summons and spirit-based support.

Her Character Skill, Summon Spirit, calls three different family spirits as backup: Helen, Frederick, or Sebastian. Her Passive Ability, Necromancy, gives defeated enemies a chance to return as allies, allowing her to raise enemy ghosts that fight briefly before fading. Her Ultimate Art, Immortal March, grants temporary immortality to herself and nearby living allies while reviving allies in a near-death state, transforming family into immortal warriors.

  • Revenant’s spirit allies benefit from effects that apply to nearby allies, including bonuses that heal allies from Flask use.
  • Necromancy can work on some mini-bosses, including Banished Knights and Mad Pumpkin Heads.
  • Her summons and family-based effects make her especially strong in coordinated play, where nearby-party bonuses are easier to maintain.
  • Relics that strengthen family, increase Art gauge gain, or trigger ghostflame effects during Ultimate Art activation are among her best options.
  • Items and effects that improve incantations, affinity damage, or ally support also fit her kit well.
  • Revenant’s unique relic effects can also trade her own HP or utility for stronger team healing and offensive support.

To unlock Revenant, the player must first face or defeat the first Nightlord, buy the Besmirched Frame from the Small Jar Bazaar, and then interact with her phantom near the Table of Lost Grace. This transports the player to a fort in Limveld, where they must travel to nearby ruins and defeat the Night Idol. Her summoned companions do not respawn once defeated during this encounter, making careful target priority important. A useful approach is to punish her after dodging her leaps, stay mobile against her short-ranged combos, and avoid being caught by her poison cone or portal repositioning. Healing incantations can also be used to finish her safely during openings.
