Mechanical Surfboard

Mechanical Surfboard is an entertainment building that uses pumped water to create mechanical waves for Duplicants to enjoy. Its flavor text emphasizes relaxation, and in practice it serves as a recreational option that can be slotted into a colony’s leisure infrastructure once a water supply is available.

The building does not consume the water fed into it. Instead, it releases the water from the bottom-left tile of the building, which makes its placement important. It works best when built over a water reservoir or other space where the spilled water can be collected or allowed to fall harmlessly. Because the output is a splash rather than a direct drain, it can also be incorporated into a simple recirculating setup by placing the building above a catch basin and pumping the water back up.
