Shrooman Brute

The Shrooman Brute is an enemy native to the Undergrounds and a much tougher version of the Shrooman. It is covered in armor that reduces most incoming damage to 1, making it far more durable than its smaller counterpart. Like the Shrooman, it will notice a player and then attempt to headbutt them in a straight line.

When a Shrooman Brute collides with terrain or a player, it becomes vulnerable for 2 seconds. Stuns, including those from Stun Shot, also make it vulnerable for that shot alone. Its charge is strong enough to destroy any dirt walls it hits, and it deals a small amount of mining damage on impact, enough to break Sand, Snow, Dirt, Meadow, and Turf Block walls in a single hit.

Shrooman Brutes primarily spawn on Fungal Soil placed in any biome, so they can be used to create controlled training setups outside their usual natural surroundings. Because their armor reduces most damage to 1, they are extremely useful for gaining experience in Melee combat, Range combat, Magic, and Summoning, since these skills grant 1 experience per hit. A common setup is to destroy all ground blocks around a Brute to trap it, preventing it from ramming into anything and disabling its armor.
