Combat Drone Durability
Overview
Combat Drone Durability is a technology that increases the durability of combat drones. As the name suggests, it raises the durability of both ground combat fighters and space combat ships. Its effect stacks multiplicatively with Enhanced Structure.
It is researched in five levels. The first level requires Prototype as a prerequisite.
- Level 1: cost 200 / 200, ground combat fighter durability +10% (to 110%), space combat ship durability unchanged at 100%
- Level 2: cost 400 / 400 / 400, ground combat fighter durability +10% (to 120%), space combat ship durability unchanged at 100%
- Level 3: cost 600 / 600 / 600 / 600, ground combat fighter durability +20% (to 140%), space combat ship durability +30% (to 130%)
- Level 4: cost 1000 / 1000 / 1000 / 1000 / 1000, ground combat fighter durability +20% (to 160%), space combat ship durability +30% (to 160%)
- Level 5: cost 2000, ground combat fighter durability +40% (to 200%), space combat ship durability +40% (to 200%)
The technology is useful when combat drones are expected to stay in battle longer, especially if both ground and space deployments are being used. Because the bonuses apply multiplicatively with Enhanced Structure, investing in both upgrades improves durability more than either one alone.
