Negentropy Singularity

Negentropy Singularity is a component item obtained from Dark Fog units at level 21 or above. It is part of the Dark Fog loot table, and its main role is tied to late-game infrastructure rather than general-purpose crafting.

Having Negentropy Singularity in your inventory unlocks the hidden research Negentropy Recursion, which in turn unlocks Negentropy Smelter. It is also used in the recipe for that same building, so it functions both as a research unlock item and as a construction material. Like Silicon-based Neuron, it is effectively a building-only item with no broad production-chain use outside that purpose.

A practical consequence of this design is that farming higher-level Dark Fog becomes part of the path to adopting Negentropy-based industry.
