Gas Cargo Canister

Gas Cargo Canisters are space cargo modules used to bring gas resources back from space missions. They can collect Polluted Oxygen from an Organic Mass destination, Oxygen from a Terrestrial Planet destination, and Natural Gas and Hydrogen Gas from a Gas Giant destination; other destinations do not provide gas resources. When a mission returns, each Gas Cargo Canister brings back 1000 kg of gas, with the exact contents determined by the destination’s resource composition.

To unload the stored gas, a Gas Pipe must be connected to the canister. Because gas can only be transferred at 1 kg/s per Gas Rocket Port, it is efficient to place multiple Gas Ports in a row if faster loading and unloading is needed.
