The Guitar is a tool that can be found in treasure chests inside locked rooms in the Deep Mine, and it can also appear as a rotating stock item on Jimmy's Boat. It is primarily a utility item rather than a musical instrument, since its strum is not stable enough for proper performance.

When used, the Guitar makes nearby farm animals move toward the player. Once they are close enough, this interaction counts as petting them, making it a convenient way to gather animals before tending to them. This makes the Guitar especially useful on farms with multiple animals, since it can reduce the time spent walking up to each one individually.

Despite its name, the Guitar cannot be relied on for making music. Each strum is randomly pitched slightly up or down, so it does not behave like a consistent instrument. Its main value is therefore in animal handling rather than entertainment.
