Iron Hammer

A big hammer for hitting things slowly.
Overview
The Iron Hammer is a hunting weapon that can be crafted at the Crafting Table after obtaining Hunting Licence Level 3 from Fletch. It also appears in treasure room chests in the Deep Mine with partial durability, making it a possible early pickup for players who explore underground before crafting one themselves.
Like other hammers, it is a slow weapon with high damage and a chance to stun targets, so it is better suited to deliberate swings than rapid attacks. The player can hold Left-Click, or X on an Xbox Controller, to raise the hammer above their head and prepare an attack, which helps with timing heavier blows. It is also useful outside combat, since it can break Tin, Copper, and Iron ore rocks.
The Iron Hammer’s durability can be restored at the Repair Table, so a damaged one does not need to be replaced immediately. This makes it a practical tool to keep around once obtained, especially if you plan to use it for both combat and ore breaking.
- High damage, but slow attack speed.
- Can stun enemies on hit.
- Hold the attack button to ready a swing before releasing it.
- Breaks Tin, Copper, and Iron ore rocks.
- Can be repaired at the Repair Table.
- Found in Deep Mine treasure room chests with partial durability.
