Silicon-based Neuron

Overview
Silicon-based Neuron is an item dropped by Dark Fog units at level 18 or higher. Keeping one in your inventory unlocks the hidden research Digital Analog Computation, which in turn unlocks the second-tier matrix lab, and it is also a component used to produce that advanced lab.
In practice, Silicon-based Neuron has a very narrow purpose: its main use is as the unlock and production material for Self-evolution Lab. It drops in large quantities, but it has no other uses beyond that. If you do not want it to accumulate, control it with a drop filter as needed.
