Overview
Emanate is a fast support unit used to repair and construct buildings and to defend the
Emanate performs repairs by firing paired repair beams; its weapon operates on a rapid reload and short-lifetime projectile model that heals structures rather than dealing damage. It can build structures when commanded and acts as a frontline maintenance unit rather than a durable tank—it has no special active skills and no immunity states. Its role is utility-first: keep Emanates moving to cover damaged turrets, walls, and production buildings, and use them to repair choke points during sustained attacks on the Core: Acropolis.
Key operational details and weapon parameters:
- Reload: 20.0 ticks (0.33333 seconds) per shot, allowing frequent repair pulses.
- Projectile speed: 1.0, with a lifetime of 40.0 ticks (0.66667 seconds); the repair beam persists for a short duration.
- Fixed repair per hit: 1.8 health points.
- Percentage repair per hit: 0.03% of the target’s max health (applied in addition to the fixed repair).
- Repair formula: fixed repair + percentage repair (that is, repairSpeed + fractionRepairSpeed * maxHealth / 100).
- Shots do not penetrate and have no spread or knockback; turn speed is 20.0.
- Each shot produces 9 fragments (visual/beam elements) and provides continuous healing equivalent to the weapon's listed rates; summary table data lists healing as 2 × 108/sec in aggregate presentation.
- Inaccuracy, knockback, and status inflictions: none.
Practical usage and tactics:
- Use Emanate to rapidly respond to damage on key infrastructure—power nodes, turrets, smelters, and the Core: Acropolis. Its exceptional speed makes it the preferred unit for hit-and-run repairs across a wide map.
- Position Emanates behind frontline defenses so their short-lived repair beams can reach damaged targets without exposing them to focused enemy fire. They are fragile as combatants; avoid sending them into heavy direct fire.
- Pair Emanates with long-range or area-control turrets: while turrets hold enemies at bay, Emanates can keep those turrets and nearby walls at high health, reducing downtime and replacement costs.
- Because repair output includes a percentage of max health, Emanates scale better on high-health structures; prioritize them for repairing heavy walls and higher-tier buildings where the percentage component contributes more.
- Keep multiple Emanates available during sieges; sequential repairs from several units stack to recover large amounts of health quickly.
- They do not possess special skills or immunity states, so protecting them with Shielded structures or escort combat units increases their longevity during prolonged engagements.
