Agora

Agora is a Folktail-exclusive well-being building introduced in the Closed Beta as Temple and renamed in Update 5. It is designed as a place for contemplation rather than a production building, and it now requires a steady supply of extract to operate. The extract is burned inside, and the building’s flames were updated to reflect this behavior.

Because it is exclusive to the Folktails, Agora is only relevant in settlements using that faction’s building set. It fits into the faction’s spiritual and social progression rather than the industrial economy, so its value lies in supporting beaver well-being and providing a dedicated place for the colony to gather. In practice, that means it is most useful when you already have a reliable extract supply chain and want to convert part of that output into a sustained service building.

A few practical points stand out:

• Agora has no construction-chain complexity listed on the wiki data, so it is treated as a straightforward building to place once available.
• Its modern version depends on extract consumption, so it should be built only when the colony can keep it supplied consistently.
• Since it was renamed from Temple, older references and obsolete images may still use the previous name.
• The building has a dedicated visual presentation in use, and historical images show both the original Temple version and the Iron Teeth variant from before the current Folktail-exclusive redesign.

As a result, Agora is best understood as a faction-specific spiritual amenity that trades ongoing resource use for colony support. If extract production is intermittent, the building will not be as effective as intended, so it works best as part of a stable late-game Folktail infrastructure.
