Scarecrow

Overview
The Scarecrow is a building in Timberborn that provides an area of effect around itself to influence nearby tiles. Its Area of Effect is a 5x5 square centered on the Scarecrow, covering 25 tiles in total. Because the Scarecrow occupies its center tile, the total number of tiles affected that are not already occupied by the building is 24.
The Scarecrow was introduced at the game's Early Access launch. A later patch noted as Update 2 changed the building so it can fit under a 
- The effective area is symmetrical and extends two tiles in every cardinal direction from the Scarecrow's position, forming a square rather than a circular range.
- The Scarecrow can be placed beneath a Double Platform starting from Update 2, enabling players to layer infrastructure without blocking the Scarecrow’s area.
- When planning layouts, remember that the central tile is occupied by the Scarecrow itself, so 24 surrounding tiles remain available for the building’s effect.
