Bell

Overview
The Bell is a Timberborn building that produces a ringing sound and is associated with the needs system. It was introduced in the game’s early updates and was added to the Needs mechanics so that its audio output and presence affect beaver behavior or settlement requirements in some way. Players can disable the Bell’s sound if they choose not to hear its ringing.
The Bell fits under a 
- Can disable the sound: the Bell’s ringing can be turned off through the game options or the building’s controls, allowing players to remove its audio presence while retaining its functional placement.

- Cultural note: ringing bells for timekeeping is thought to have originated in ancient China and later spread across Asia and Europe. The English word tintinnabulation, derived from Latin tintinnare, refers to bell-like ringing and is the etymological source of the term for a ringing in the ears known as tinnitus.
