Grilled chestnuts

Grilled Chestnut is a cooked food good produced by Beavers using a Grill. It provides a cooked version of raw chestnuts that is consumed by Beavers to satisfy hunger and contributes to overall happiness like other prepared foods.

The Grill converts wood and raw chestnuts into Grilled chestnuts. Production requires 1 raw chestnut and 0.1 units of wood fuel per batch; each batch yields 2 Grilled Chestnuts and takes 0.33 hours of work time. The Grill must be supplied with both raw chestnuts and a source of wood fuel (such as stored logs or an adjacent Fuel Depot) for continuous operation.

• Grilled Chestnuts stack and are stored in standard food storage buildings; ensure storage space is available to prevent production stoppages.
• Use Grilled Chestnuts when you need an efficient way to turn surplus chestnuts into a higher-value food item that occupies less inventory space per meal and has the benefits of a cooked food.
• Place Grills near chestnut harvesters or near food storage to minimize Beaver travel time and keep production flow smooth.
• Monitor wood fuel levels to avoid halting Grill activity; each production cycle consumes a fractional amount of wood, so plan fuel supplies accordingly.
