Cattail root

Overview
Cattail Root is a good in Timberborn obtained from harvesting fully grown Cattail crops. Each harvested
Cattail Root can be processed by grinding it into a processed product. Processing one unit of Cattail Root into that product requires 0.66 hours of processing time per unit. The game records processing in discrete unit conversions, so one Cattail Root is converted to one processed unit during the stated time interval.
- Acquisition: harvested from fully grown Cattail (Crop). One harvested Cattail provides three Cattail Root units.
- Processing: one Cattail Root is ground into a processed product; conversion time is 0.66 hours per unit.
- Production implications: each Cattail crop yields three roots, so every harvested crop supports three processing operations. At 0.66 hours per operation, a single processing slot can handle about 1.5
Cattail root per hour (approximately 1.515 units/hour).
- Logistics: plan harvesting and processing throughput together so that the number of harvested Cattail crops matches the capacity of grinding facilities to avoid resource pileup or idle workforce.
Cattail Root functions as an intermediate agricultural good whose primary role is to feed into processing chains. Managing the ratio between harvested crops and processing capacity ensures steady conversion of raw roots into their processed form.
