Electric Heater

The Electric Heater is a directional power consumer that produces heat in the direction it is facing. It requires electricity to operate and is used wherever a consistent heat source is needed but no better option is available. When running, it consumes about 100 power per second and outputs 3 heat per second toward its front side.

Because it is so power-hungry, the Electric Heater is generally a poor choice unless nothing else can fulfill the same role. Its narrow, forward-only output also means placement matters: it must be aimed at whatever block or area needs heat, and it does nothing useful to the sides or behind itself. In practice, that makes it a specialized structure rather than a general-purpose part of a power or production chain.

• Place it only when you specifically need directional heat output.
• Keep in mind that it is very power inefficient compared to most other utility blocks.
• Make sure its front side is aligned with the target, since the heat output only goes that way.
• It is best treated as a last resort when no more efficient heating setup is available.
