Phase Heater
CategoryCrafting

Applies heat to structures. Requires phase fabric.
Overview
Phase Heater is a directional building that produces heat in the direction it faces. It requires
The heater consumes Phase Fabric at a slow steady rate — about 1 Phase Fabric every 8 seconds (≈0.125/s) — and when active it emits 15 units of heat toward its facing side. Place and orient Phase Heaters so their heat is delivered to the intended target (for example, adjacent machines or tiles that require heating).
- Consumes Phase Fabric as fuel; without Phase Fabric the unit does not produce heat.
- Emits heat only in the direction it is facing; orientation determines which side receives the 15 heat units.
- Fuel consumption is low but continuous, so plan Phase Fabric supply accordingly (chains of conveyors, junctions, or buffered storage help maintain uptime).
- Useful where a localized, directional heat source is required; align multiple Phase Heaters to concentrate heat on a single target or to cover a line of tiles.
