Overview

Phase Weaver is a mid-to-late game production building that synthesizes Phase Fabric from thorium and sand. It consumes large amounts of power and granular materials to produce Phase Fabric at a steady rate, making it a focal point for base power management and supply routing. The Phase Weaver's health was increased from 160 to 190 in a recent update; it was added in an earlier unknown build.

A Phase Weaver's inputs and rates: it consumes thorium at 2/s and sand at 5/s, requires 300 power/s, has a production cycle of 2 seconds, and outputs Phase Fabric at 0.5/s. Because of the high sand throughput, conveyors alone often cannot keep many weavers supplied; drills should be placed adjacent or very close to weavers to avoid clogs. Water-boosted Laser Drill can supply one Phase Weaver when placed for full coverage, while a single Airblast Drill can supply two weavers under the same ideal conditions.

Practical usage and strategy:

  • Prioritize stable power: Phase Weavers draw 300 power each. Multiple weavers will rapidly increase your base demand and can cause blackouts if Overdrive Projectors or power generation are not scaled accordingly.
  • Place sand sources nearby: The sand requirement is the main bottleneck. Position Laser Drills or Airblast Drills directly next to weavers or feed them with very short conveyor runs. Overdriving the supplying drills helps prevent sand shortages.
  • Use gates to direct output: You can route Phase Fabric through logic gates to feed conditioning structures like Overdrive Projectors or Domes selectively, improving throughput when you want to overdrive specific facilities.
  • Combine with overdrive infrastructure: If you plan to overdrive Phase Weavers or the drills supplying them, ensure Overdrive Projectors are within range and that the projector itself is receiving sufficient power and Phase Fabric as needed.
  • Layout considerations: Clustering weavers with grouped drill arrays and shared power networks is efficient, but monitor local power draw to avoid localized low-voltage issues. If conveyors start backing up, move drills closer or add additional drill capacity.
  • Production scaling: Because each weaver produces only 0.5 Phase Fabric per second despite heavy inputs, scale the number of weavers according to your material and power capacity rather than expected per-unit output.

Phase Weaver is best employed where reliable, high-throughput sand and robust power infrastructure exist; it enables mid- to late-game builds that depend on Phase Fabric but imposes clear demands on base logistics and energy.
