Titanium Ingot

Overview
Titanium ingot is the most basic refined product of
Titanium ingots are produced by smelting Titanium Ore in a smelter. The standard recipe consumes 2 Titanium Ore over 2 seconds to produce 1 Titanium ingot, so any production line should be planned around that ratio. Because many advanced buildings, ammunition, and items use titanium ingots either directly or as an intermediate material, it is worth setting up a sizable and stable supply line once Titanium Ore becomes available.
- Titanium ingots begin to matter in earnest when Structure matrix production starts to require them.
- They are also required for infrastructure such as the
Planetary Logistics Station and for ammunition-related items such as the titanium ammo magazine.
- Since the recipe is a 2:1 conversion, downstream demand can rise quickly; a small smelting setup is often insufficient once off-world logistics and advanced manufacturing expand.
- A dedicated Titanium Ore processing line is useful because titanium ingots are not a luxury material but a core input for several major progression steps.
