Explosive Unit

Overview
Explosive Unit is a powerful explosive component crafted from
Icarus as fuel or thrown as a weapon. Compared with Combustible Unit, it is a higher-grade explosive with stronger destructive potential, but it also requires more advanced production and tighter resource planning.
Its main industrial uses are as a component for crafting

The recipe itself uses

- Explosive Unit is a crafting material, ammunition ingredient, and fuel item.
- It is used in Supersonic Missile Set and Crystal Explosive Unit production.
- It is also a key ingredient for high-explosive shell ammunition.
- Its recipe depends on basic resources plus oil processing, making it a bridge between early chemical manufacturing and advanced munitions.
As a thrown weapon, Explosive Unit is significantly stronger than Combustible Unit. Even against a maximum-level Dark Fog target, with no additional performance upgrades, it can destroy a mobile ground unit in a single hit. Its blast radius, however, is not ideal for Guardian targets, so it is not a reliable answer to them despite its raw damage.
Although it can be burned as fuel, Explosive Unit is generally a poor fuel choice. Each stack contains a large amount of energy, but the production cost is far too high for routine power generation, so using it as fuel is usually wasteful unless there is a surplus.
