Mend Projector

Repairs blocks in its vicinity. Optionally uses phase fabric to boost range and efficiency.
Overview

Base operational characteristics:
- Healing percentage per pulse: 11%.
- Reload time between pulses: 4.17s.
- Full repair time (to restore a fully damaged target under a single projector’s continuous pulses): 37.91s.
- Required inputs: 90/sec (must be supplied to maintain operation).
Booster interaction and effects:
- Mend Projectors accept booster items to amplify performance. A single listed booster entry shows a booster consumption rate of 0.15/sec.
- Applying boosters increases the healing multiplier to 2.36×, reduces the effective full repair time to 17.67s, and adds +6.25 to the projector’s repair range.
- Because projectors consume boosters while idle, manage booster supply carefully to avoid wasting resources.
Practical usage and placement notes:
- Place Mend Projectors behind defensive lines or adjacent to important production hubs to keep turrets, core buildings, and conveyors repaired during combat or accidents.
- Use multiple projectors focused on high-value or frequently damaged structures to take advantage of stacking and shorten repair time proportionally.
- Prioritize supplying both the projector’s primary required input and booster items; if booster supply is interrupted the projector still functions at base rate but loses the increased healing and range.
- Position projectors so their ranges overlap on critical structures; overlapping ranges from boosted projectors yield much faster repairs due to stacking.
- Because projectors continuously consume boosters, consider automated supply logistics (conveyors, routers, or unit haulers) to maintain efficiency and avoid overconsumption when repairs are not needed.
