Swimming Pool

Overview
The
Placement is strict. The pool must be built against at least one solid strip and next to water that is at least 0.2 m deep. Because of this, it is best planned into riverbanks, canal edges, or artificial basins rather than added after terrain has already been heavily developed. The structure also occupies two vertical levels in practice, since part of the building sits above ground while the pool basin is sunk into the water.
- Requires a 3x1 solid foundation area for the deck.
- Requires an adjacent 3x3 water area for the swimming basin.
- The water must be at least 0.2 m deep.
- Its two-level layout means nearby terrain and landscaping should be planned carefully before construction.
In a colony layout, the
The pool’s shape also means it is easier to integrate into a planned waterworks system than into a fully landlocked settlement. If you are shaping terrain for housing or industry, leave room for the 3x3 water portion before surrounding the area with paths, decorations, or other structures. Because the deck and swimming area are tied together, blocking either side will prevent proper placement.
Construction is straightforward once the required terrain exists, and no special construction chain is listed for it.
