Kidna

The Kidna is a wild animal in Dinkum. It is passive by default, so it does not actively seek out fights unless provoked or cornered. When it attacks, it uses a rolling charge that can slightly displace whatever it hits on contact.

Kidnas are vulnerable to stronger predators such as the Croco, and packs of Diggos can also threaten them, although Kidnas will often kill a few in self-defense. When hunted down, they drop Raw Meat and Bone on death.

For hunting, spear variants are among the most versatile weapons to use against them.

• Keep some distance when engaging a Kidna, since its rolling attack can push you back slightly.
• Spear-type weapons work well for safe, controlled hunting.
• If you are near other hostile wildlife, be aware that Kidnas may already be under pressure from predators like Crocos or groups of Diggos.
