Plunk

Plunk is a domesticated farm animal that is captured from the wild with a Domesti-Crate. Once kept on a farm, it can be housed in an Animal Den, fed Animal Food, and raised for its produce. A well-cared-for Plunk will produce Plat Pies, making it a useful animal for players who want a steady source of farm goods.

Like other farm animals, a Plunk must have three basic needs met in order to stay productive and breed: shelter, food, and attention. It needs an Animal Den for housing, and each den shelters one Plunk only; other animal shelters do not count. It must also eat Animal Food once per day from an Animal Feeder. If it is not fed, it will not die, but it will become unhappy and stop producing. In addition, petting the Plunk each day increases its hearts and helps improve the quality of its products. The Guitar can also satisfy this attention need, and NPCs may sometimes wander into the pen and pet the animal if there is a gate.

If you are breeding Plunks, make sure they are healthy, housed, and fed consistently so the breeding conditions remain valid.
