Antimatter

Overview
Antimatter is a late-game material produced in the

Its main uses are in

A few practical points make it easier to handle:
- Antimatter stacks in groups of 20, but it cannot be stored in a
Storage Tank.
- It has a listed energy potential of 375 MJ on the English source material, but it cannot be burned as fuel directly.
- To use its energy value, it must be crafted into Antimatter Fuel Rods.
- Producing Antimatter always generates the same amount of Hydrogen, so any Antimatter production line needs a plan for the Hydrogen byproduct.
- If Antimatter is being made only for Universe Matrices, the Hydrogen output is pure excess and should be routed into another use or consumed quickly.
- One Miniature Particle Collider producing Antimatter and Hydrogen from Critical Photons can supply two
Assembling Machine Mk.II making Antimatter Fuel Rods.
Antimatter is unlocked late, after the Dirac inversion mechanism technology, but it does not appear as a direct crafting option in
Icarus’s replicator menu. Instead, the relevant recipe shown there is Mass-energy storage. In practice, this makes Antimatter part of the post-sphere industrial chain rather than an item the player handles casually. Since it cannot be stockpiled in tanks and is usually needed for high-value products, most production lines are designed either to consume it immediately or to convert it into fuel rods and ammunition as soon as it is made.
